Welcome to Emily Wolverton Events, where I bring my love of everything weddings and organization to help you begin the rest of your lives together! I can’t wait to meet you, learn about your wedding day vision and bring your day to life! 

When you book Emily Wolverton Events as your wedding planner, you get work with me directly from start to finish, and I personally will be onsite managing your event on the big day.

The best part of weddings in 2020 and beyond is that anything goes! That means that the most important thing is your love, your loved ones and your future! With this as my guiding philosophy, I bring you years of experience in the event industry to help you pull off the affair of your dreams, from large-scale soirees to the most intimate of vow exchanges.

Along with your wedding day vision, my goal is to learn who you are as a couple, the things you love together, the most important wedding day elements you want for you and your guests, how you want to remember your day, and ultimately how you want to feel in this most special moment. 

As an Oregon native, I love to elevate the beauty of the Pacific Northwest to curate stunning and timeless events. I take pride in bringing you the best the area has to offer via local vendors. I want to surround you with not only the best services, but the best people in the industry who will feel like they are part of your family. I recognize that my work is a very personal relationship with you and your loved ones, and I treat each wedding like my own.

I truly thrive in the nitty-gritty details and find that project management is my top strength. I take challenges in stride and problem solve under pressure – I’ve seen it all! I often hear from clients that I “make this look easy” and I help round out their wedding day with final touches they hadn’t thought of. 

I bring 15 years of experience in the Oregon event industry – across the public, nonprofit and private sectors. Prior to launching Emily Wolverton Events, I was the onsite wedding coordinator at The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club for three seasons, and managed over 20 weddings and large-scale events a year. Prior to that, I worked for a PR agency doing product launches and corporate events for Microsoft, and worked in marketing/events at local Portland nonprofit Albertina Kerr and Oregon State University. I have also assisted brides working in wedding gown sales, and I completed my MBA in 2011.

After working in corporate events and coordinating my own wedding, I found my true passion and knew I had to pivot my skills to wedding planning. I find it so much more rewarding working with a couple as they begin this new chapter together. My favorite wedding day moment is right before the walk down the aisle, when you take a deep breath and know this is just the start of something spectacular.

On the personal side, I have been married to my wonderful husband Sean for 7 years, and together we have a very spirited and creative 4.5 year old daughter named Morgan. Our cat Mindy and two fish Anna and Elsa (our daughter is a HUGE Frozen fan!) round out our family.
